My Husband Is a Computer Wiz

I am very excited to be back on here agian. Our computer messed up last Saturday evening and Wayne was just now able to fix it. I am very impressed with his computer skills, if it had been up to me we would have just tossed this one and went to Best Buy. I don't really feel like to much blogging tonight, but I had to let you know I am back on. I know you all missed me terribly.

Me Time

(Millie was 3 weeks old)

So guess who is home alone..... Millie is at the park with Mammy and Pappy, enjoying the beautiful weather (grandparents rock). Wayne is at work. And I am at home BY MYSELF. Very exciting! I am not going to waste tooo much of my time blogging. I will say though that my little one can drive me nuts, I can feel like I am getting nothing done when she is around and still when she is gone there is a hole in my heart. I can't believe how much I miss her. She really is my sunshine. Now that I have been so sappy you all have cavities, I am going to go take a long bath.....
See Ya Tomorrow,

PS Tomorrow is Wayne and My 6 year Anniversary!

Mommy is Sleepy

Ok so sorry I dropped the ball last night. I was sooo tired and I didn't have the energy to think. Millie woke up Thursday morning at 4:45 am and I didn't get to go back to sleep, when Wayne finally got her to go back to sleep I had to leave for work. I shouldn't complain because she rarely does that, but I am complaining, so there. Today was much more pleasant for me. I was able to sleep til 6:15 and when I left for work at 7 Millie was still fast asleep. She was really wild when I got home though. She had a big day with Daddy and Mammy at the park and McDonald's and I swear she tried to tell me about it. That kid of mine is a talker. She was also in a loving mood tonight, lots of hugs and kisses (sugars). I guess she knows that Mommy's and Daddy's need lots of those. I am a very lucky lady.

PS Please keep my friend Charie in your prayers she is having a very difficult battle with breast cancer. I know she will win, but I wish she didn't have to get so beat up along the way.

IN MEMORY OF MILLIE D. WHITTINGHILL

January 3, 1938 - April 21, 2007

I miss you Nana. I thank you for sending me my baby girl. I thank you for giving me all of your love. I thank you for worrying about me, laughing with me, and sharing with me. I miss you when something good happens, I miss you when something bad happens, I miss you everytime a holiday comes around, I miss you everyday. I will always be grateful for you and I will make sure my Millie knows about you. I will live the way you taught me, I will make you proud, I will always be your baby.

And God Laughed

Funny how life works, last night I write how I am going to be more positive and this morning I oversleep, wake Millie up to discover she has a fever of 101( and feels like crap), and I stepped in dog pee (thanks Punkin). Normally I would have cried and been in a pissy mood all day, but not today. With my resolution fresh in my mind I decided we were going to have a good day if it killed me. I changed my socks, gave Millie some motrin, and curled up in bed with her to watch cartoons. It is very ironic that when your kid is not sick all you can say is I wish she would be still for one minute and when your kid is sick (and still), you just wish they would feel well enough to run around. Either way holding my little girl this morning while we watched Olivia (I love that pig), was one of the highlights of my week. At times she still smells like that 8 pound baby. Luckily the fever must have been b/c of teeth and by 10:30 she was wild (see picture). We did also end up at the doctor today, after nap she started picking at her foot and saying ow, ow, mama. There was a tiny spot on her right foot, Dr. Chris says it is either a splinter working it's way out or the start of a wart, but we shouldn't have to aputate. Moral of the story, even though the morning was a potential disaster, it ended up being a moment to cherish. I love that kid.

See Ya Tomorrow,
